Richard Ashcroft heads to Cardiff Castle next summer for a huge outdoor headline show on Thursday 16 July. Fresh off a standout year supporting Oasis across their 2025 stadium dates and the success of his seventh solo album Lovin You — which landed at Number Three in the UK charts — he returns in peak form.

A two-time Ivor Novello and triple BRIT Award winner, Ashcroft remains one of the UK’s most influential songwriters. His set will draw from a catalogue that spans generational anthems with The Verve through to his expansive solo work.

He’s joined by a heavyweight support bill: original Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan, bringing his trademark vocals and material from his solo album The Reckoning, plus rising indie favourites Apollo Junction opening the night.

This show joins a stacked summer of music at TK Maxx presents DEPOT Live at Cardiff Castle — one of 2026’s major highlights.
