Adding to its allure, since 2018, Cardiff Castle has been home to DEPOT Live & DEPOT In The Castle, showcasing an impressive roster of artists. From renowned musicians like Nile Rodgers & Chic, Clean Bandit, Tom Odell, Kaiser Chiefs, and Craig David to captivating acts such as Madness, a-Ha, Foals, The Chicks, Blondie, Sting, The Cult, Westlife, Hozier, Lumineers, Bastille, and Sir Tim Jones, the venue has hosted an array of unforgettable performances.

DEPOT Live also operates the electronic music brand Shangri-La, featuring exciting events like Patrick Toppings’ Trick, Defected, Glitterbox, and Fisher in recent years.

In 2023 DEPOT Live partnered with Cuffe & Taylor to deliver their 2023 series. The successful partnership delivered 13 shows with over 120,000 tickets sold.
