Cardiff Castle

Support: Tony Hadley, Altered Images

Bananarama bring their Too Hot To Handle Greatest Hits Summer Tour to Cardiff Castle next summer for a night of 80s pop.

With more than 30 million records sold, 10 UK Top 10 hits and a Guinness World Record for the most chart entries by an all-female group, Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward have one of the biggest catalogues in British pop. Expect Cruel Summer, Venus, Love In The First Degree, Nathan Jones, Robert De Niro's Waiting and I Heard A Rumour. They marked 40 years of True Confessions this summer with an anniversary edition that reached Number Six in the UK Album Chart.

"We promise a night of real 80s nostalgia," says Keren. "Along with our special guests, we guarantee an evening that will have everyone dancing and singing along."

Special guest Tony Hadley fronted New Romantic pioneers Spandau Ballet through True, Gold, Only When You Leave and Through the Barricades. Almost 40 years on, after a successful solo career, his voice is as recognisable as ever.

Opening the night are Scottish new wave favourites Altered Images, fronted by Clare Grogan, with hits including Happy Birthday, I Could Be Happy and Don't Talk to Me About Love.
